- Who are you?

We are qualified gemmologists and diamond graders, who handle antique, vintage and modern jewellery. Combined we have nearly 40 years of experience within various aspects of the jewellery trade. We are trading under the umbrella company of Jewellery Quarter Bullion Limited, owned by entrepreneur Rob Halliday-Stein.

 

- Where are you based?

Our Head Office is located in Britain’s second city and the home to jewellery – Birmingham. You can see us from the steps of New Street’s Grand Central Station, only down the road from the world famous Jewellery Quarter.

 

Can I visit?

Our Head Office is in the city centre and accessible by appointment only, so please be sure to call 0121 634 8088 or use our Contact Us form before making your way here. By speaking to you beforehand we can be sure the item you wish to see is available to view, and one of our team is here to give you a personal one-to-one experience.

 

- Can you resize my ring for me?

Yes! If the ring you are interested in shows multiple size options, this ring is suitable for sizing or is available in different sizes. There is also an option to measure your ring size at home, you can do this by finding a ring you like and selecting 'Request a free ring sizer', we will pop a ring sizer out to you in the post so you can make sure you are getting the perfect size.

 

- Can you engrave my item?

Yes! On certain items we can offer an engraving service to add that personal touch to the item. There will be a drop down to select engraving on our engravable items, if there is an item you would like engraved but you can't see this option, please get in touch on 0121 634 8070 and we can see what we can do for you. Please be aware that jewellery items that are quite narrow or small you may not be able to fit on large amounts of script and the font size may be difficult to read. Also note that any items that are engraved can take up to 5 working days and are void for refund. 

 

- What are your shipping policies?

Provided there is no resizing or engraving to be applied to your item, we aim to post out your purchase within 48 hours unless otherwise stated on the product page. We use Royal Mail’s Next Day Special Delivery and DPD Express Next Day which requires a signature on receipt and is fully insured to the value of the parcel. 

 

What happens if I change my mind?

We offer a full money back guarantee for 100 days from the date of receiving your parcel. Any items that have been customised, will not be accepted for a refund, and the item must be in the same condition that it left us in. Please be aware that some of our Antique and Vintage pieces, and even some of the Modern intricate pieces can be quite delicate and require a little bit more care and attention. Earrings may be returned, providing the seal on the inside packaging has not been tampered with. Should earrings be returned to us, either outside of their original packaging or with evidence that the seal has been broken, your return guarantee will be void. This is due to reasons of hygiene and does not affect your statutory rights. Further information regarding this can be found in our terms and conditions.

 

- Why doesn’t my jewellery look brand new?

Our Antique and Vintage jewellery is exactly that, and will not always look “brand new” on arrival. We feel that by keeping them in original condition, you achieve the most satisfaction. Some Antique and Vintage style pieces will have a special finish applied to them to give them the same overall effect. Please take extra care when handling and cleaning any of these particular pieces.

 

- Do you offer insurance valuations?

We currently offer insurance valuations by Safeguard, part of the Birmingham Assay Office. Their highly qualified and expert jewellery valuers provide insurance replacement values. If you do wish to add this on to your order, please contact us via our Contact Us form, or by phoning 0121 634 8088 before purchase to discuss the options available to you and the additional time period.

 

- What condition are your items in?

The condition and age of the item you choose will differ depending what type of jewellery it is. As we offer Antique, Vintage and Modern jewellery, some of the jewellery will require a little more care than other pieces. Every piece is examined by one of our in-house experts and confirmed it is of excellent repair before it is made available for sale.

 

- Do you purchase jewellery?
